How can we stop our cat from clawing up the furniture?

My wife and I have adopted four cats into our house over the last ten years. Our most recent cat is very feral and she wants to dig her claws (as well as her fangs) into everything and everybody that she comes into contact with. You can tell that she has been lurking about, because you will find wood splinters and carpet fibers scattered throughout the house. We have squirted her and threatened her with a water bottle. We have caught her in the act and firmly said no to her. A number of years ago, we had to declaw another one of our cats, because she was digging her claws into the furniture and one of our cats that is declawed. This most recent cat is as sweet as can be, however she does have issues. How can we stop our cat from clawing up the furniture?

I am Really Scared for My Dad?

My dad has been taking oxycotin for over a year. When he first started taking the drug he would take it by mouth. Now he has started to take it by nose and obviously over dosing. Pet stain removal? Kitty Litter stain in carpet?

I'm moving out of an apartment and I have some stains on my carpet that I really don't feel like paying an arm & a leg for when I leave. Thinking of trying CIO even though I am against it?

I had a daughter who sounds identical to your son. I was NOT for CIO at all. One day though I was so tired I put her in her crib crying and let her cry for a few minutes. I would come in and check on her to make sure she knew I was in there and then would leave again. It was exhausting but after a few times of doing this she fell asleep from exhaustion. It took a few days for her to realize when night time was. To be completely honest if you keep letting him do it he will. Make sure you put him to bed at the same time and keep repeating it. I am in 9th grade and I have been friends with this person since kindergaten but he's a bit strange. I took almost an entire bottle of magnesium citrate about five hours ago and I drank two cups of water after that. My stomach got really full after that and I couldn't drink anymore. I am 18 years old. I went to the doctor for a checkup. Everything was going fine until he made me lay down on the table face up and he started feeling my stomach. He told me that my liver was big. But coming back to the question I think Einstein's fame escalated mainly due to his participation in the nuclear fall out in Japan in World War 2. I breast feed my baby, but is it ok to add formula powder to her food?

I have never heard of esha exit and I have been working in the industry for a decade, but I looked it up and I can say that the active ingredients are not commonly used in the parasite medications available in most fish stores (at least in the US). I am not saying that it couldn't be effective but I am unfamiliar with its use so I will recommend products I trust, that work for me. Before I go further, you need to figure out if you have activated carbon in your filter. If you have a hang on power filter, then it is typically contained inside the filter cartridge. Otherwise it would be a media bag that is full of little black rocks or small charcoal. If it is a canister filter, it is in a media bag. Again it looks like pellets of charcoal or black rocks. Some canister filters use a chemi pure or chemical removing media that needs removed also. You must remove the carbon/chemical filter media for the medication to be effective. Make sure the filter remains running though, just take out the carbon during the treatment as the medication instructs. I would actually do a water change to remove any esha exit and switch to quick cure, super ich cure, or coppersafe. Quick cure works for ich and velvet but is also effective against other microscoping external parasites. Its active ingredients are malachite green and formalin. It turns the water blue but that will go away once the carbon is replaced after the full treatment and a partial water change is done. Read the instructions carefully as some species are sensitive to this medication. Typical dose is one drop per gallon per day for three to four days. Super ich cure is a powder medicine that I have used effectivly to treat discus and loaches infected with external parasites and it is safer for delicate species. Read the directions. Coppersafe is a stronger treatment that uses copper sulfate to kill parasites and it is active for one month in the tank. A copper test is advised to monitor levels and it can easily be overdosed so again follow the directions exactly. It will kill inverts too. Metronidazole or clout are other options for medicating your fish if you can't get quick cure or super ich cure. Many people have a prefered medication that works for them, I am only suggesting the ones I personally use, other opinions are valid. I won't ask for more information but I will check back to see if you added any additional details. Please make sure you locate the activated carbon in your filter as almost all filters use it (or should). Also, whatever medication you use, you must read the direction fully and follow them exactly or you could do more harm to the fish. I hope this helps. Good luck.

A LOT of questions about gauges?

I am thinking of getting gauges (the kind of ear piercing) sometime in the future. First of all, do you need your ear pierced at any size before you start doing the stretching and/or piercing for gauges? Next, what is the size and/or measurement of the gauge that most professionals will first start with? Help! I have accidentally broken my son's girlfriend's nose!?

I recently split up with my wife who I have been married to for nine years. My son thought that it would be a good idea to have a house party to try and cheer me up a bit and to possibly help me find a new partner. I wasn't to happy with idea but in the end I decided to go along with it to make my son happy. My son invited a few of my friends, some work colleagues and his girlfriend. During the evening time, one of my work colleagues called Jenny started to flirt with me. I have always liked her and I thought that I should give things a go with her. So anyway I took her into my bedroom and we started to strip off for sex and she then picked up my tie and made it into a blindfold and put it on me. Because she had lots to drink that night she rushed out of the bedroom and went to the bathroom to throw up. But I didn't know that she was going to the bathroom and instead I thought she was waiting in the hallway for me to come and get her, in a way like a cheeky game of hide and seek if you know what I mean? And also by this time I thought that everyone in the house had gone home. After about 30 seconds of waiting I left the bedroom with a smile on my face ready to find Jenny in the hallway. But what I didn't know was that my son and his girlfriend were still here cleaning up my house. I went towards the stairs with my hands out in front of me ( I was still blindfolded). Question about taking st. john's wort before wisdom teeth removal?

I started taking st. john's wort about a month ago.. I would take 3 a day because that's what the bottle says. I am getting my wisdom teeth removed tomorrow morning and am being put to sleep for it because I'm getting all 4 removed and one is impacted. Now I'm really worried though because I was reading online that you should not take these supplements before being given any type of anesthesia because it interacts with it..? I think Relativity is more difficult. You need a heck of a lot of logic to get through it, and it's irritating when you lose your line of thought and then have to start from scratch. My 9 year old son has accidentally thrown a hard ball into my neighbors yard while playing catch with his friend a couple of times. I did a little online research and found out the effective solution is to bait ants with a sweet and a poison so that the poison will spread to other ants/the source. Ever since I attended a workout program or whatever it's called, the coaches have been telling us to hydrate and so far I have been drinking water for a few weeks now and it's starting to be a habit of just drinking water all the time. Why is my mouth so dry?

So I have been thinking for awhile now about this thought that I had a couple of months ago. If I am right with this, then relatively travelling back into time is possible. And like any other relativity theories, this one also requires the speed of light travel. So, consider two spacecraft that are CAPABLE of travelling at the speed of light and they both set out to a journey to Proxima Centauri (3 light years - i am rounding it). and let's say that they both start at the same time today May 25, 2011 and spaceship one is travelling at 'c' but spaceship 2 is travelling only at 'c/2'. spaceship 1 is going to arrive at Centauri exactly 3 years from now so its time is going to read May 25 2014. But the second spaceship which will arrive 6 years later. However consider this: If the spaceship 2 will increase its speed up to the speed of light once spaceship 1 arrived at proxima centauri, then spaceship two will arrive at proxima centauri in 1.5 years. So, by this time a total of 4.5 years have been passed. So the date on spaceship 2 will read November 25 2015 (remember 4.5 years). but more than 1.5 years will have been passed on the spaceship 1 that is stationary at centauri (time dilation). So therefore by the time spaceship 2 will have arrived at Centauri, an observer on spaceship 1 will perceive spaceship 2 as from the past. Thus due to time dilation, an observer on spaceship 1 will perceive spaceship 2 from the past. Even though the time difference will be minute, it can still be considered because time on spaceship 2 is much slower than on spaceship 1, which is stationary after 3 years of travel. So relatively speaking travelling back into time is possible. Am I right? Please tell me. Even though I did not use any specific numbers, this is just a thought that I have.
