I am Really Scared for My Dad?

My dad has been taking oxycotin for over a year. When he first started taking the drug he would take it by mouth. Now he has started to take it by nose and obviously over dosing. I do not know where he got this idea. He never goes on the internet. He says his doctor said it but on the bottle it clearly says by mouth. He today has almost got into 3 crashes without me telling him to stop or slow down. He is ether mad, crazy/co co or just sleeping. It is really taking a toll of my life. I have to do everything and he is always in pain and it is obviously not working. He said going of the pill for 7 days and then after 7 go back on it will help him but it obviously won't. I am starting to give up. He always says he does not but he is obviously doing it. He spends like all day out in the kitchen. I do not know what to do. Help please.
