Are traits like good, bad and even physical traits like beauty depend on relativity?

I will use beauty as an example, if you think that Heidi Klum is beautiful , is it because she stands out in beauty when compared to other women? Would we still be attracted to Heidi Klum if every woman in the world looked like her? What attracts us to her is the fact that she is superior in beauty to other women around us. I doubt if we would show interest if they were all as good,bad or beautiful as the individual who you think has those traits.
